Star Wars

I copied the layout of this painting from a poster by Simon Z, a very talented English gentleman who takes hirez Star Wars images and through the magic of photoshop pastes them into some very artistic and compelling designs. Like I said previously, I like to paint from high rez photographs. This is now one of them.

It's kinda' fun to go back and look at some of the paintings I've worked on. This was my first group shot. A lot of characters. A lot of detail.

3rd Frankenstein

This was the last of my Frankenstein paintings. Friends have told me to contact Universal about licensing this one as a print. Again, I tried to give it the look of a colorized old photgraph but in reality its an ink washed painting that has color added. Hope you enjoy the results.

This was fun and I used all sorts of techniques to capture the old time movie flavor.
